For brunch we decided to try The Memoirs Bendigo in Golden Square, a venue we haven’t been to before. At Memoirs you can dine inside or out. There is free parking directly out the front and to the side of the café. The staff were friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic. The Eggs Benny with bacon we ordered was very tasty, along with a coffee, made for an enjoyable meal. The Memoirs Bendigo, out on its own in suburbia Golden Square was a pleasant find. You might even say a real hidden gem. Worth checking out.Well done to the team!

A truly great hidden gem. The big breakfast was just that, a plate full of delicious food & the price must be the best in Bendigo. My wife had the French Toast with grilled banana & Berry compot. She has a new "go to". Our meals were complimented by loose leaf tea & awesome coffee. We will be back.

Great place for breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff. French Toast has a gluten free option. Big Breakfast was huge, as were all the meals.

Beautiful welcoming customer service! Food was very generous in portion size and in a day and age where so many restaurants charge through the roof making it hard to take the family out for a meal, the prices we found to be super reasonable. All delicious! Menu had great variety and made it a difficult decision! Will be back :)

Hidden Gem Alert! We were pleasantly surprised by this café! The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the presentation was outstanding. Loved the Mediterranean Brekky, while the kids enjoyed their pancakes and egg & bacon toast. And the coffee? Perfect! Highly recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect spot for brekkie. Probably the best coffee we had on a 2 week road trip from Sydney to and around Tassie. Food is awesome and the service comes with a beautiful smile. Nestled in a residential area, there is no hassle with parking.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Incredible Lamb Souvlaki at Memores Bendigo!** Memores Bendigo serves up the best lamb souvlaki I've ever had! The lamb was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, perfectly seasoned with that melt-in-your-mouth texture. The tzatziki was fresh and tangy, and the balance of ingredients—tomato, onion, and herbs—was spot on. Every bite was a delight. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was beautiful too! The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can’t recommend this place enough for souvlaki lovers. Absolutely a must-try!
